What a local business's first 30 days of content should look like
A practical 30-day content plan for any local service business that's never posted consistently before.

Start with what you already know
Most local businesses freeze up when they sit down to plan content because they’re trying to be a brand. They don’t need to be a brand. They need to show up.
Here’s the 30-day starter framework we use with every new local-business client.
Week 1 — Establish presence
Five posts. Just five. Don’t try to be fancy.
- One “who we are” post with team faces
- One process video (2-3 min) walking through what you do
- One customer testimonial or review screenshot
- One FAQ answered with text on a branded background
- One behind-the-scenes shot from your day
The goal of week one is to prove to the algorithm — and to anyone landing on your profile for the first time — that you’re an active, real business.
Week 2 — Build social proof
- Two more reviews / testimonials
- One before-and-after of recent work
- One staff spotlight
- One short video answering a common objection
Week 3 — Educate
- Three “did you know” style educational posts
- One myth-busting carousel
- One short video walking through a common mistake customers make
Week 4 — Convert
- One direct offer post (limited-time discount, free consultation, etc.)
- One urgency-driven post (booking up for the season, etc.)
- One reminder of how to book or contact you
- One “thanks to our customers” recap of the month
What you’ll notice
By the end of 30 days, you’ll have 20+ pieces of evergreen content sitting in your library. Most of it can be re-edited and repurposed for the next 60 days.
Consistency in month one buys you flexibility in months two and three.
